Automation Engineer - SCADA

About the role

The Automation Engineer will design, develop and maintain SCADA/HMI applications for industrial projects. You will work on system architecture, integration and ensure reliable operation of automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain SCADA/HMI applications using AVEVA Wonderware System Platform and InTouch.
• Install, configure and maintain SCADA systems, including redundant architectures, historian, alarm management and data logging.
• Configure industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA/DA, PROFINET and EtherNet/IP.
• Integrate SCADA with PLCs, RTUs, VFDs, sensors and other field instruments.
• Support PLC programming and troubleshooting for Schneider, Siemens and Mitsubishi systems.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, installation and commissioning.
• Prepare technical documentation, including I/O lists, wiring diagrams and SOPs.
• Collaborate with engineers, vendors and technicians to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical support during tendering, project development and system maintenance.
• Ensure system reliability, cybersecurity and data integrity.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Automation Engineering.
• 4‑6 years of experience in SCADA programming and industrial automation.
• Strong experience with SCADA platforms such as AVEVA/Wonderware System Platform.
