AV Technician

About the role

JLL is seeking a skilled AV Technician to join its team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of audiovisual equipment and systems across the company's facilities. The position is on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and test audiovisual equipment such as projectors, displays, sound systems, video conferencing units and control systems
• Set up AV equipment for meetings, events, presentations and conferences, ensuring everything is connected, calibrated and working before events
• Provide on-site technical support during meetings, events and presentations, and troubleshoot AV issues quickly
• Operate sound, lighting and video equipment during live events when required
• Respond to service requests and support tickets in a timely manner
• Perform routine maintenance and testing, conduct regular inspections and maintain records of equipment inventory, maintenance schedules and service logs
• Work with facilities, IT and event management teams, train end-users on basic AV operation and document procedures and troubleshooting guides
• Recommend upgrades and improvements to existing AV infrastructure

Required profile

• Diploma in Electronics, Audio Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience with commercial AV systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and system schematics

Required skills

• Knowledge of projectors, displays, sound systems, microphones, video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx) and control systems
• Understanding of signal flow, audio mixing, video switching and system integration
• Familiarity with network fundamentals and IP-based AV systems
