AVP – Global Wholesale Banking Sustainability Office

About the role

The Assistant Vice President will lead the Sustainability Office within Global Wholesale Banking, supporting OCBC’s ambition to be Asia’s leading financial services partner for a sustainable future. You will work closely with senior leaders to embed ESG considerations across the business and ensure robust governance, reporting and stakeholder communication.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee office operations, ensuring strong governance, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, providing updates to senior management and aligning sustainability priorities.
• Lead disclosure, investor relations and regulatory publications related to ESG.
• Drive sustainability reporting and analytics, delivering accurate and timely reports.
• Manage budgeting, audit coordination and compliance oversight.
• Lead digital and process optimisation projects, including automation, Excel VBA macro development and Power BI dashboard creation.

Required profile

• Proven experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams to identify and mitigate ESG risks.
• Strong understanding of sustainability trends, regulations and best practices.
• Ability to translate sustainability strategy into actionable business initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for senior‑level stakeholder engagement.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, including VBA macro development.
• Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
• Automation and digital tools implementation.
