AVP Talent Acquisition – 2 Year Fixed-Term

About the role

GIC is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Talent Acquisition on a two‑year fixed‑term contract. You will lead recruitment for technology roles and support broader hiring needs across the organisation, acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for experienced technology hires, managing the process from intake to offer.
• Support additional mandates in Front Office, Middle Office and Corporate Services as required.
• Partner with hiring managers to define candidate success profiles and run structured intake sessions.
• Build and nurture proactive talent pipelines through direct sourcing, headhunting, strategic partnerships and networking.
• Translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies and assess candidates on competency and team fit.
• Leverage recruiting analytics (pipeline conversion, time‑to‑fill, sourcing effectiveness) to refine hiring strategies.
• Champion an exceptional candidate experience and strengthen GIC’s employer brand in the technology talent market.
• Stay informed on market developments, technology talent trends and the broader employment landscape.

Required profile

• 6‑9 years of experience in a search firm or in‑house recruiting, with a strong track record in technology recruitment.
• Willingness to expand into Front Office, Middle Office or Corporate Services recruitment.
• Sound technical acumen to credibly screen engineering, infrastructure and cyber roles.
• Strong relationship‑management and candidate‑assessment capabilities.
