Backend Engineer (Remote Contract)

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that meet strict performance and reliability standards.

• Contribute to architecture discussions and propose innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, fully remote expert team.

Required skills

• Modern backend programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, Node.js).
• Design and implementation of RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Relational and NoSQL databases with data modeling expertise.
• System security, authentication, and authorization best practices.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with event‑driven or serverless architectures (preferred).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks (preferred).
