About the role
The Bell Captain provides premium guest services at The Singapore EDITION, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for all visitors. This full‑time, on‑site position involves greeting guests, handling luggage, and coordinating transportation.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, inform them of hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Assist with luggage storage, retrieval, and transport to guest rooms.
- Help guests in and out of vehicles, load/unload luggage, and arrange transportation such as taxis, shuttles, or limousines.
- Dispatch bell and valet staff, communicate parking procedures, and follow up on guest requests.
- Serve as a role model for the department, supporting hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Maintain uniform standards, uphold confidentiality, and report safety concerns.
- Provide assistance to guests with disabilities and ensure courteous telephone etiquette.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related hospitality experience.
- Less than 1 year of supervisory experience (preferred).
- No specific license or certification required.
