About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Host to join the Front Office team at Grand Hyatt Singapore. The role involves greeting guests, managing arrivals and departures, and ensuring a smooth, personalised experience throughout their stay. Key responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests, assist with check‑in and check‑out, and deliver courteous service.
- Handle reservations, guest inquiries, and room assignments accurately.
- Act as the primary point of contact for guest needs, providing solutions and recommendations.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering and other departments to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Process payments, maintain accurate records and follow hotel policies and procedures.
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities and local attractions.
- Uphold service standards to create memorable and positive guest experiences.
Required profile
- Warm, friendly and confident when interacting with guests.
- Detail‑oriented, reliable and a proactive team player.
- Positive attitude with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Minimum G.C.E. “O” levels; diploma or degree in Hospitality, Tourism or related field preferred.
- At least six months of experience in hotel operations.
- Good working knowledge of English; additional languages are an advantage.
Required skills
- Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) for reservations and guest management.
