Building Trades Worker – Maintenance Assistant

About the role

The Maintenance Assistant supports resident satisfaction by preparing move‑in apartments, responding to service requests, and maintaining common‑area amenities. You will work directly with residents to ensure a high‑quality living experience while upholding Cushman & Wakefield’s service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare market‑ready apartments, including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs.
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests.
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, and carpentry systems.
• Maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog‑park amenities.
• Report maintenance concerns on vacant units and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Follow fair housing laws and safety policies at all times.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, trade, technical or vocational education.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read manuals, write routine reports, and follow safety procedures.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for routine maintenance tasks.
