Business Associate – Assistant Vice President

About the role

Citi is seeking a Business Associate at the Assistant Vice President level to drive strategic initiatives across workforce management, financial oversight, and operational excellence. You will partner with senior leaders to set priorities, monitor performance, and ensure the delivery of high‑impact solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define strategic priorities with leadership and coordinate with owners to achieve results.
• Oversee global workforce management, including headcount forecasting, third‑party services, and real‑estate planning.
• Manage financial oversight such as expense controls, annual budgeting, and forecast management.
• Provide day‑to‑day operational analysis, problem‑solving, and best‑practice implementation.
• Champion client satisfaction by strengthening organizational competency and ensuring consistent internal delivery.
• Develop and track monthly metrics to measure goal achievement.
• Handle ad‑hoc analytical requests and produce detailed management reports.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of relevant experience in finance, operations, or workforce management.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems and navigate roadblocks.
• Experience leading large‑scale projects with a results‑oriented mindset.
• Strong influencing skills and ability to build cross‑functional relationships.
• Adaptability to change and capacity to develop innovative solutions.
