Business Development Manager - Architectural Services / Interior Design

About the role

A client headquartered in Japan, which designs and renovates commercial spaces such as department stores, specialty shops and restaurants, and is also expanding into non-commercial spaces like showrooms, offices and laboratories, is hiring a Business Development Manager in Central, Singapore. The role focuses on new business development for office fit-outs, renovations and workplace transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for office fit-out, renovation and workplace transformation projects in the logistics, healthcare/clinic and IT sectors.
• Understand clients' business needs and propose suitable design and workplace solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, real estate agencies, leasing firms, property management companies, architects, designers and consultants.
• Manage the full sales process, from lead generation to negotiation and closing deals.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and market insights using AI and digital tools.
• Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities.
• Provide weekly updates on sales activities, pipeline and project progress.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
• Diploma or degree in business or a relevant field.
• Proven track record of acquiring new clients and closing deals.
• Preferably experience in real estate, leasing, facility management, logistics, healthcare, construction or IT.
• Good-to-have: familiarity with AI and digital productivity tools; proficiency in Mandarin.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of client needs and solution-based proposals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship management skills in English.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.

What we offer

• Permanent, full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.
• Pay of SGD 5,000 to 6,000.
