Business Development Manager – Lifts

About the role

We are looking for a commercially astute Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives for our Lifts Business Unit. The role focuses on expanding market share, securing new installation and modernization projects, and building strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute market expansion strategies for new builds and modernization opportunities.
• Identify and cultivate leads with developers, consultants, contractors, and public‑sector clients.
• Maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and high satisfaction.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market dynamics to inform positioning.
• Represent the company at industry events to enhance brand visibility.
• Lead the preparation, review, and submission of technical and commercial tender proposals.
• Collaborate with procurement and external vendors to secure competitive pricing.
• Ensure all bids meet internal governance, profitability, and risk‑management standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Business or related field; project‑management or sales qualifications a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of business development, sales or tendering experience, preferably in lifts, construction or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of lift systems, project lifecycles and tendering processes.
• Proven ability to design and implement growth‑focused business plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership of cross‑functional teams.
