Business Development Representative - Singapore Market

About the role

Salesforce is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) for its Singapore market. The Sales Development team includes BDRs and Sales Representatives; BDRs are the more senior role and focus on outbound lead generation, working closely with Account Executives. Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline for products across Mid Market and General Business accounts.
• Create and prioritize strategic target account lists within Singapore.
• Research and build cold accounts, such as adding contacts, sending emails and cold calling.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and quotas.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of inside sales experience in the IT industry (new business development, cold calling, planning and strategy).
• Proven track record selling to Singapore clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Driven, high energy and positive attitude.
• Nice to have: experience having high-level conversations with senior executives, evangelizing Salesforce and the on-demand model.
