Business Operations Analyst – Fresh Graduate

About the role

As a Business Operations Analyst at HP, you will support the planning and execution of accessory shipments, ensuring timely delivery to factories, distribution centres and customers. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates eager to develop a career in supply chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accessory shipment planning and scheduling to meet business commitments.
• Monitor supply, inventory levels and shipment status, flagging risks and coordinating corrective actions with Planning, Procurement, Logistics and Operations teams.
• Support allocation, prioritisation and fulfilment decisions, balancing demand, inventory and business goals.
• Assist with Material Assurance of Supply analysis, New Product Introduction, product transitions and End‑of‑Life activities.
• Prepare data analysis for Last Time Buy planning, track supplier commitments and inventory consumption.
• Compile operational metrics, generate reports and analyse demand‑supply data using planning systems and BI tools.
• Collaborate across Planning, Procurement, Factory Operations, Engineering, Logistics and Finance to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, reporting automation and data‑quality enhancement.

Required profile

• First‑level university degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically up to 6 months of supply‑chain exposure; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interpersonal skills and basic project‑management understanding.
• Interest in developing business acumen within HP’s supply‑chain strategy.
