Business Systems Specialist – Digital Solutions (2-year contract)

About the role

The National Institute of Education (NIE) is seeking a Business Systems Specialist/Analyst to join its Digital Solutions department on a two‑year fixed‑term contract. You will support project‑management initiatives for the Student domain, acting as the primary liaison between users and the technology team.

Key responsibilities

• Advocate for the user community, ensuring stakeholder concerns are heard and addressed.
• Communicate project roadmaps, progress, and strategic initiatives to university leadership.
• Manage change communications for enterprise‑level updates, system refreshes, and legacy application migrations.
• Develop real‑time dashboards to provide visibility into project health and support metrics.
• Collaborate with development teams to align project plans with stakeholder feedback.
• Classify support requests, define and monitor SLAs, and protect project timelines.
• Drive AI‑enabled, data‑driven, and automation innovations across institutional applications.
• Lead data‑integrity initiatives and work with developers to automate processes.
