Cell Leader - Repair Operations

About the role

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, is hiring an onsite Cell Leader for its OEM MRO facility in Singapore. The role leads and supervises Assistant Foremen, Workshop Engineers and technicians who carry out disassembly, inspection, repair and assembly of engine parts according to approved technical data and standard work processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Assistant Foremen, Workshop Engineers and technicians.
• Ensure work on engine parts follows approved technical data and standard work processes.
• Solve technical issues encountered in daily work.
• Ensure Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) on equipment is performed on time.
• Assist the Assistant Foreman in achieving production targets, corporate goals and discipline.
• Attend Tier 1 and Tier 2 meetings.
• Comply with the code of ethics and EH&S regulations, standards and procedures.
• Carry out SAP transactions and cross-functional work within the department if required.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience in aircraft engine workshop operations and procedures.
• 3 years of relevant operation experience and team management in the aerospace industry.
• Good analytical skills, able to grasp concepts and resolve issues quickly.
• Knowledge of the PW4000 and PW1100 engine models and completion of an engine type course.
