Central Operations Manager – AMSEA

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Central Operations Manager for its AMSEA region in Singapore. The role oversees the planning, execution and documentation of projects and programs that support semiconductor and advanced display manufacturing. You will lead a team to ensure timely delivery, cost control and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Define project objectives, milestones and resource plans, and ensure preliminary activities are completed for effective execution.
• Manage project delivery against product specifications, budgets, resource utilization and schedule commitments.
• Document all phases of project and process development and disseminate information to relevant functional areas.
• Ensure compliance with engineering notebook, patent, confidentiality and safety policies.
• Assign work to staff, fostering professional development while maximizing productivity.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead teams and provide direction in line with established policies.
• Experience reviewing objectives, recommending policy changes and measuring performance against goals.
• Strong judgment to resolve issues within defined procedures and policies.
• Effective communication skills to present technical information and gain cooperation from stakeholders.
