Centre Manager & Personal Assistant to Chief Learning & Innovations Officer

About the role

The National Institute of Education (NIE) seeks a dynamic Centre Manager and Personal Assistant to support the Chief Learning & Innovations Officer (CLIO) within the Director’s Office. This role combines high‑level executive assistance with centre management responsibilities, contributing to NIE’s AI in Education initiatives and the new Education Solutions and Engagement Centre.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CLIO, including email management, calendar coordination, travel arrangements, and claims processing.
• Assist in strategic planning by collecting, analysing, and evaluating data from units under the CLIO.
• Collaborate on policy and procedure development for the Education Solutions and Engagement Centre.
• Support event planning, welfare programmes, and committee secretariat duties, preparing agendas, status reports, and presentations.
• Manage the CLIO’s budget and the AIED initiative budget, overseeing procurement, inventory, and expenditure tracking.
• Coordinate with other PAs and senior leadership staff to ensure seamless office operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in executive or senior‑level administrative support.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information.
• Experience in budget management, procurement, and event coordination.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and support senior leadership initiatives.
