Certified Preschool Principal (DECCE-L)

About the role

The school is seeking a DECCE‑L certified Preschool Principal to lead its early childhood centres across Toa Payoh, Novena and Marine Drive. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality education, fostering holistic child development, and ensuring compliance with ECDA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of early childhood teachers to achieve educational excellence.
• Set strategic direction, establish policies, and continuously improve centre standards.
• Maintain licensing, health, safety and all ECDA related requirements.
• Build strong relationships with parents and address their concerns promptly.
• Manage centre operations, budgeting, resource optimisation and enrollment processes.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education – Leadership or equivalent ECDA‑recognised certification.
• 1‑2 years of experience as a Preschool Principal.
• Strong understanding of Singapore’s early childhood regulatory framework.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ECDA licensing procedures.
• Budget preparation and financial control.
• Policy development and implementation.
