Chemical & Process Technician – Jurong Island (2 positions)

About the role

We are seeking two motivated Chemical and Process Technicians to join our plant on Jurong Island. The role involves supporting daily operations of a multi‑process chemical facility, working on a 12‑hour rotating shift with transport provided.

Key responsibilities

• Perform minor maintenance and routine checks on process equipment such as pumps, compressors and filters.
• Execute start‑up, shutdown and emergency shutdown procedures for plant units.
• Isolate and de‑isolate piping systems for product grade changes, troubleshooting and equipment commissioning/de‑commissioning.
• Adjust process parameters under supervision to optimise production.
• Prepare and blend chemicals, including mixing and dilution, and conduct inter‑tank transfers following quality protocols.
• Handle non‑conforming or off‑spec products safely.
• Support plant maintenance planning and respond to emergency drills.
• Carry out ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Nitec or Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in a process or chemical plant.
• Willingness to work a 12‑hour rotating shift.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work under supervision.

Required skills
