Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) – Digital Banking

About the role

We are seeking a visionary Chief Information Security Officer to lead the security function of a fast‑growing licensed digital bank in Singapore. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the enterprise‑wide security strategy for a platform that combines fiat and crypto settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a comprehensive security framework that supports rapid business growth while respecting the company’s risk appetite.
• Navigate international financial regulations and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI‑DSS.
• Oversee vulnerability management, penetration testing, and a 24/7 incident response (CSIRT) capability for a borderless banking network.
• Act as the primary security liaison to the Board, C‑suite, and global regulators.
• Foster a security‑first culture across the organization and translate technical initiatives into executive‑level governance.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years of strategic cybersecurity experience in Financial Services, Fintech or Digital Assets.
• Proven track record as a CISO or senior security leader scaling high‑growth environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in MIS, Fintech, Computer Science or related field.
• CISM certification is mandatory; additional credentials such as Blockchain Security, Data Privacy or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are preferred.
