Civil Engineer – Construction Project Management

About the role
We are looking for a Civil Engineer to support the Superintending Officer in overseeing civil construction projects at PSA Tuas Port. The role involves monitoring progress, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor, track and produce timely project progress reports for management.
- Assist the manager in assessing completed works and tracking variation orders.
- Review, coordinate and comment on contractors’ drawings and other submittals.
- Liaise with consultants, the main contractor and PSA stakeholders on work acceptance and progress.
- Conduct regular QA/QC inspections to verify compliance with PSA specifications.
- Carry out safety inspections with the contractor’s safety team and resolve site‑related safety issues.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering.
- Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in civil/building works.
- Experience in construction of civil or building projects; exposure to M&E works is a plus.
