Facilities Technician

About the role

As a CBRE Facility Technician you will maintain small to medium‑sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. The position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a variety of building systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnose potential problems, and carry out necessary repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders, track completion using available systems, and ensure energy‑efficient operation of building equipment.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum NITEC in Engineering or equivalent, with 1‑2 years of related experience (or comparable education and experience).
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Strong communication skills for clear information exchange.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
