Civil Engineer – Structural & Geotechnical Projects

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to support structural and geotechnical activities on construction sites. The role involves preparing technical submissions, supervising site works, and ensuring compliance with design standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit technical engineering designs and documentation to local authorities before work commences.
• Monitor soil investigation bore logs and generate geotechnical reports on critical matters.
• Advise site personnel on structural mechanics, oversee pile load testing, and ensure the latest construction drawings are used on‑site.
• Propose corrective actions for design‑related non‑conformances and assist in resolving technical complaints.
• Attend technical meetings and coordinate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognised by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant civil engineering or construction experience.
• Familiarity with deep foundation works (bored piling), soil mechanics, and geotechnical engineering principles.
• Malaysian candidates are eligible to apply.
