Client Tax Regulatory Reporting Analyst – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

The Tax Regulatory Services team at Bank of Singapore is seeking a Client Tax Regulatory Reporting Analyst on a 6‑month contract. You will support the bank’s compliance with the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) through daily operational processes and periodic reporting cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Business‑as‑Usual (BAU) processes such as Change‑in‑Circumstances (CIC) outreach, Relationship Manager Inquiry (RMI), and annual CRS/FATCA classification and mass‑mailing campaigns.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Technology, Scanning, and Mailing teams to ensure smooth workflow execution.
• Manage day‑to‑day BOSCOS CIC workflow and liaise with COLM and CA teams for closed‑account CRS certifications and QI DTT updates.
• Plan and run annual process run‑books, handling exceptions and changes with stakeholders.
• Assess pre‑reporting requirements, consolidate data, and address stakeholder queries.
• Analyze regulatory changes, evaluate operational impact, and implement necessary updates.
• Participate in FATCA/CRS projects, performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression system testing.
• Review and improve existing processes to enhance control, reduce risk, and standardise procedures.
• Prepare weekly management information updates for the Head of Department and handle ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of CRS and FATCA regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in operational compliance or regulatory reporting processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal stakeholders.
