Climate Partnerships & Communications Lead (1-year contract)

About the role

WWF Singapore is looking for a strategic Climate Partnerships & Communications Lead to shape and manage high‑impact collaborations with government agencies and intergovernmental organisations across the region. The role will drive policy influence, partnership delivery and media engagement for WWF’s climate agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a stakeholder engagement strategy aligned with WWF‑Singapore’s priorities.
• Build and maintain relationships with key public‑sector partners, representing WWF in meetings, forums and working groups.
• Identify and develop partnership opportunities, lead proposal writing and ensure delivery, compliance and impact reporting.
• Secure media coverage, cultivate journalist relationships and produce press releases, news stories and multimedia content.
• Manage communications during issues or crises, coordinating timely responses.
• Contribute to the design of carbon‑finance programmes and support engagements that promote high‑integrity carbon markets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Environmental Studies, International Relations, Political Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in government relations, public affairs or strategic partnerships, preferably in the environment or sustainability sector.
• Proven fundraising experience in the public sector and a trusted network across Singapore’s public‑sector landscape.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience preparing proposals, reports and official correspondence.
