Cloud DevSecOps Associate

About the role

NCS is looking for a Cloud DevSecOps Associate in Singapore to join a DevSecOps-driven team that manages a customer cloud environment covering hundreds of servers and SaaS, PaaS and IaaS services. The role supports the team and infrastructure with hands-on knowledge of cloud technologies and configuration, while keeping up to date with technology standards, industry trends and software development best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, test, implement and maintain technologies across multiple cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
• Set up, test and integrate CI/CD tools
• Design and develop solutions that meet project requirements
• Work in an agile, cross-functional team and solve complex technical problems individually and as a team
• Review and improve work processes, document new processes and keep knowledge of standards and best practices up to date
• Apply DevSecOps principles to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development and deployment
• Operate, manage and support IT infrastructure and services to meet client service levels, aligned to client technology standards and policies
• Provide AWS maintenance support for production systems, including monitoring, tuning and patching/upgrading

Required profile

• Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline
• At least 1 to 3 years of relevant IT experience; candidates without work experience are welcome if they have the basic knowledge listed below
• Clear written and spoken communication with customers and stakeholders, adaptable and a good team player

Required skills

• Virtualization, Docker and Kubernetes
• Coding or scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Perl, Python, etc.; scripting-based OS and service configuration is an advantage
• Cloud concepts, services and architecture
• Git, Maven, Gradle and Bamboo
• Good to have: CI/CD pipeline scripting (Python, Ansible), Terraform and CloudFormation, cloud-native application development (Python, Node.js), cloud networking and general IT security awareness
