Cloud DevSecOps Engineer (AWS, Terraform, CloudFormation)

About the role

NCS, an AI tech services company and subsidiary of the Singtel Group, is hiring a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer in Singapore. The role sits within a DevSecOps-driven team that manages customer cloud environments covering hundreds of servers and SaaS, PaaS and IaaS services, and focuses on keeping the infrastructure available and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, test, implement and maintain technologies on AWS cloud environments
• Set up, test and integrate CI/CD tools, and build CI/CD pipelines with scripting and automated testing
• Design and develop solutions to meet project requirements in an agile, cross-functional team
• Solve complex technical problems individually and as a team, and review and improve work processes
• Document new processes and ensure projects follow client technology standards and policies
• Provide AWS maintenance support for production systems (monitoring, tuning, patches, upgrades)
• Use AWS CloudFormation to automate infrastructure deployment, and maintain AMIs and Auto Scaling Groups
• Improve resource tagging for cost planning, reporting and governance

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline
• At least 1 to 3 years of relevant IT experience
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, IaC and AWS cloud services
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders, and to work well in a cross-functional team

• CI/CD and IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS
• Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell, Perl
• Version control and tooling: Git, Maven, Gradle, Bamboo, Jenkins
• Cloud concepts, services and architecture; networking on the cloud (good to have)
• Cloud-native application development (good to have)
