Commercial APAC & MEA Leader

About the role

The Regional Commercial Director will drive the commercial footprint across the combined Asia Pacific and Middle East & Africa (APAC/MEA) regions. The role defines the growth strategy, identifies new market opportunities and leads a structural transformation of the commercial resources, while maximizing team output and building a high-performance culture with sustainable career pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic business development: identify and capture white-space opportunities in APAC and MEA, expand into emerging territories through market-entry analysis, and act as a bridge between regions sharing best practices and standardized commercial tools.
• Optimize commercial resources: redesign the commercial organization to increase efficiency and regional coverage, implement a career architecture with clear progression paths, and set and track data-driven targets with coaching and mentorship.
• Organizational leadership: manage a wide geographic span using remote leadership best practices across time zones, and work with global executive leadership to advocate for regional needs while aligning with global corporate policies.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in a global matrix organization.
• Deep commercial experience in both APAC and MEA markets, with cultural fluency in diverse business environments.
• Demonstrated success organizing commercial sales forces or business units to drive productivity and engagement.
• Track record of entering new markets or scaling existing operations.
