About the role

The Commercial & Category Lead will drive brand and portfolio growth by shaping strategic sourcing, optimizing margins, and delivering fast‑to‑market innovations in a competitive environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and execute department goals aligned with corporate objectives and financial targets.
  • Lead strategic sourcing, including demand planning, market sourcing, supplier negotiation and contract management.
  • Analyse market data and competitive trends to uncover growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Maintain and develop key external partnerships to ensure quality, cost efficiency and continuity.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional internal teams to align on business objectives.
  • Champion continuous improvement, operational innovation and sustainable practices.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on performance and sales metrics.
  • Mentor and develop junior specialists.
  • Stay updated on industry, regulatory and technology developments affecting the ecosystem.

Required profile

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or portfolio management.
  • Proven track record of delivering strategic initiatives and measurable commercial results.
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Advanced negotiation and contract management expertise.
  • Excellent stakeholder management across all organisational levels.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively with cross‑functional teams.
