About the role
The Commercial & Category Lead will drive brand and portfolio growth by shaping strategic sourcing, optimizing margins, and delivering fast‑to‑market innovations in a competitive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute department goals aligned with corporate objectives and financial targets.
- Lead strategic sourcing, including demand planning, market sourcing, supplier negotiation and contract management.
- Analyse market data and competitive trends to uncover growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Maintain and develop key external partnerships to ensure quality, cost efficiency and continuity.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional internal teams to align on business objectives.
- Champion continuous improvement, operational innovation and sustainable practices.
- Monitor, analyse and report on performance and sales metrics.
- Mentor and develop junior specialists.
- Stay updated on industry, regulatory and technology developments affecting the ecosystem.
Required profile
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or portfolio management.
- Proven track record of delivering strategic initiatives and measurable commercial results.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Advanced negotiation and contract management expertise.
- Excellent stakeholder management across all organisational levels.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively with cross‑functional teams.
