Commercial Manager – Agri‑Commodities

About the role
We are expanding the agricultural desk of a leading global commodities trading house in Singapore. The Commercial Manager will lead physical trading activities, drive commercial strategy and capture market opportunities across the agri‑commodities sector.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute commercial strategy while managing an active physical trading portfolio.
- Execute trade flows, monitor risk exposure and exploit market arbitrage opportunities.
- Strengthen relationships with producers, refiners and global end‑users to grow market share.
- Collaborate with internal risk, logistics and research teams to maximise supply‑chain profitability.
Required profile
- 5+ years of commercial or physical trading experience in agricultural commodities (e.g., tropical oils, grains, oilseeds, softs).
- Proven track record managing supplier and buyer relationships across Southeast Asia and destination markets.
- Strong understanding of agricultural market fundamentals, risk management and commercial contracts.
- Highly entrepreneurial, commercially sharp and driven by P&L growth.
