Commercial Quality Lead – Singapore

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Commercial Quality Lead for its Singapore operations, which will become part of the newly formed DePuy Synthes orthopaedics company. The role provides quality leadership for commercial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, quality system requirements and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial quality oversight, guaranteeing adherence to applicable regulations and internal quality standards.
• Serve as the primary quality contact for the Singapore market, supporting commercial teams and business partners.
• Manage post‑market surveillance, including complaint handling, adverse event reporting and field actions.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain and Commercial functions to ensure compliant product distribution and lifecycle management.
• Implement and monitor local adoption of global quality policies, procedures and standards.
• Support internal and external audits, inspections and interactions with health authorities.
• Track quality trends, risks and issues in the market and drive mitigation actions.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives that strengthen quality culture and operational effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Life Sciences, Regulatory Affairs or a related discipline (required).
• Advanced degree in a scientific field is considered an asset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of quality system requirements and regulatory compliance for medical devices.
• Experience with post‑market surveillance activities such as complaint handling and adverse event reporting.
• Ability to support audits, inspections and health‑authority interactions.
• Strong collaboration skills with Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
