Commodities Specialist – Remote (up to $150/hr)

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Commodities Specialist to support AI research labs on a short‑term, fully remote contract. You will work 15–30+ hours per week for 3–4 weeks, helping clients solve real‑world issues in securities, commodities, and financial services while contributing your domain expertise to cutting‑edge AI projects.

Key responsibilities

• Create tasks and deliverables for common requests within the securities, commodities, and financial services domains.
• Diagnose and resolve concrete issues faced by AI labs and their partners.
• Provide expert input that advances AI research related to financial markets.
• Work independently with flexible hours to meet tight deadlines.
• Collaborate asynchronously with cross‑functional teams to support lab advancements.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in securities, commodities, or financial services.
• Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling.
• Immediate availability to start.
