Communications & Media Relations Manager – South East Asia

About the role

The Communications & Media Relations Manager will lead integrated consumer, corporate and policy communication programmes across South East Asia. You will ensure the brand stays visible, trusted and relevant while navigating fast‑moving market dynamics and regulatory environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute proactive PR strategies that boost brand perception and drive organic awareness in SEA markets.
• Partner with policy leaders to manage regulatory discussions, convey market value to public stakeholders and handle reactive issue management.
• Write compelling media assets such as press releases, narrative pitches, executive talking points, FAQs and briefing notes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with top regional journalists, oversee daily press office inquiries and manage external agency partners.
• Secure thought‑leadership opportunities for senior executives and coordinate targeted influencer engagements to amplify brand storytelling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in consumer, corporate or policy communications (agency or in‑house) with a focus on South East Asia.
• Extensive media network across SEA and proven ability to manage complex regulatory or public‑affairs messaging under tight deadlines.
• Strong capability to translate complex data into engaging consumer narratives.
• Proficiency in Thai or Bahasa Indonesia is a strong plus.
• Resilient, detail‑oriented problem‑solver who thrives in fast‑moving environments and is willing to travel regionally as needed.
