Community Engagement Manager – 2‑Year Contract

About the role

The Community Engagement Manager will lead public communications and stakeholder outreach for Future Care Planning (FCP), focusing on the Special Needs Trust (SNT) and GOAL+ grant programme. This is a two‑year contract position reporting to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an outreach strategy to raise awareness of SNT, GOAL+ and FCP.
• Oversee design and production of marketing collateral such as videos, brochures, and annual reports, integrating SNT/GOAL+ messaging.
• Produce resource packs, toolkits, deliver talks at special‑needs schools, organise caregiver forums, training workshops and surveys.
• Draft press releases, newsletters, speeches and official announcements.
• Create and manage digital platforms and social‑media presence to promote programmes.
• Track KPIs, analyse results and adjust outreach tactics accordingly.
• Handle SNT hotline calls, enquiry emails and walk‑in visits.

Required profile

• Good degree in any discipline with at least 5 years relevant experience.
• Experience in social services is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
• Analytical, creative, able to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑player with solid project‑management and organisational abilities.
