Community Partnerships Manager

About the role

MINDS is seeking a proactive Community Partnerships Manager to strengthen relationships with schools, non‑profit organisations and individual supporters. You will lead volunteer coordination, drive fundraising initiatives and support key events that advance the charity’s mission of empowering persons with intellectual disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and formalise partnerships with community stakeholders for volunteering, donations, social enterprises and inclusive employment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to attract, retain and motivate volunteers, meeting organisational volunteer and donation targets.
• Lead the Volunteer Coordinator (VC) Circle, organising meetings and Communities of Practice to share best practices.
• Produce marketing collateral (eDMs, website updates, third‑party platform posts) to promote volunteering opportunities.
• Plan and execute the biennial Volunteer and Donor Appreciation Day and represent MINDS at events such as the Purple Parade.
• Conceptualise and manage fundraising campaigns, including the Colours of Inclusivity initiative.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in partnership development, volunteer management or fundraising within the non‑profit sector.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency in creating marketing collateral (eDMs, web content).
• Experience using volunteer management platforms or donor databases.
