Compliance Intern – Transaction Monitoring

About the role

As a Compliance Intern focused on Transaction Monitoring, you will support YouTrip’s effort to protect its reputation and customers’ funds by investigating flagged transactions and helping to prevent fraud and money‑laundering activities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse escalated alerts, identify patterns and trends that may indicate suspicious or fraudulent behaviour.
• Conduct risk mitigation actions, including filing Suspicious Transaction Reports where required.
• Collaborate with the Compliance team and other business functions to ensure end‑to‑end process integrity.
• Maintain documentation of investigations and support continuous improvement of monitoring procedures.

Required profile

• Strong interest in compliance, risk management and the financial‑services or payments industry.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Passion for travel and understanding of overseas spending behaviours and associated risks.
• Proactive self‑starter who can propose and implement initiatives under tight timelines.
• Reliable and accountable, delivering high‑quality work consistently.
