About the role
Deloitte is seeking a Consultant to join its Accounting & Reporting advisory team. The role involves supporting clients on accounting, reporting, and finance transformation projects, including post‑merger integrations and carve‑outs.
Key responsibilities
- Support accounting & reporting advisory engagements, such as post‑merger integration (PMI), carve‑outs and finance operating services.
- Apply US GAAP and IFRS knowledge to client deliverables.
- Assist with process mapping and current‑state assessments during M&A integration projects.
- Prepare workpapers and client status reports with strong written communication.
Required profile
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in Accounting Advisory, Audit, Financial Reporting, Transaction Services or Consulting.
- Basic knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
- Exposure to PMI, carve‑outs, finance transformation or M&A projects.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle (preferred).
