Contact Centre Agent – Mid‑Career Traineeship

About the role

Terra Systems Pte Ltd is seeking motivated individuals for a Contact Centre Agent position under the Workforce Singapore (WSG) Mid‑Career Pathways Programme (MCPP). This structured 4‑month traineeship is designed for mature candidates aged 40 and above, providing the skills and experience needed for a long‑term career in contact‑centre operations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle multi‑channel enquiries via phone, email, live chat and web forms.
• Maintain composure and professionalism during high‑stress, time‑critical calls.
• Accurately document all interactions using the call management system.
• Follow the client’s standard operating procedures, Official Secrets Act (OSA) obligations and data‑protection requirements.
• Report for duty at least 15 minutes before the start of each shift.

Required profile

• Singapore citizen or permanent resident aged 40 + (MCPP eligibility).
• Strong verbal communication with a calm, composed demeanour under pressure.
• Meticulous data‑entry skills and a focus on accuracy.
• Willingness to sign the OSA Declaration and comply with security and confidentiality requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain client security clearance (employment contingent on approval).
• Prior contact‑centre or customer‑service experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
