Corporate Accountant – Projects & Payments (2‑Year Contract)

About the role

The successful candidate will own end‑to‑end accounting and financial reporting for Kris+ Pte. Ltd., supporting the payment programme and related business initiatives. This role involves month‑end close, regulatory reporting to SIA and MAS, audit coordination and driving process automation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain a full set of accounts with complete documentation.
• Prepare and submit monthly flash results to SIA within stipulated timelines.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost monitoring, analysis and commentary.
• Contribute to automation, standardisation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Conduct periodic reviews of processes and controls for governance and compliance.
• Collaborate with the loyalty programme unit on new payment initiatives, ensuring proper accounting treatment.
• Prepare quarterly Board papers and MAS reports/surveys.
• Liaise with the Tax department for GST and corporate tax filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits and resolve audit queries.
• Prepare annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Respond to internal audit queries and support remediation actions.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects and cross‑functional initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial reporting or full‑set accounting.
• Exposure to regulatory reporting (e.g., MAS) and audit coordination is an advantage.
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Team player who can also work independently and manage multiple priorities.
