Corporate Development & Strategy Intern

About the role

Ingredion is looking for a Corporate Development & Strategy Intern in Singapore, working in a hybrid setting. The intern supports the APAC team on strategic planning, market insights and M&A-related activities, gaining hands-on experience in corporate strategy frameworks, market research and business case development.

Key responsibilities

• Strategy support: help develop strategic frameworks and gather information from internal teams and external sources
• Market research: conduct desk research on trends and opportunities in sectors such as food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, beauty and home care, and summarise findings
• M&A pipeline support: compile company profiles and basic strategic fit assessments, and maintain tracking tools and databases
• Financial analysis: assist with simple financial models such as revenue build-ups, benchmarking and comparable company research
• Presentation and materials: prepare slides and concise summaries for internal meetings and senior stakeholders
• Project coordination: schedule meetings, draft agendas, capture minutes and support cross-functional coordination
• Strategic planning cycle: help consolidate market and business information and prepare planning document drafts

Required profile

• Current undergraduate or graduate student in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field
• Able to commit at least 6 months to the internship
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• Analytical and research skills, detail-oriented and proactive
• Basic familiarity with financial concepts; finance or accounting coursework is a plus
