Country Finance Controller (Manufacturing Business)

About the role

The Country Finance Controller will lead the finance function for a manufacturing business in Singapore, partnering with senior leaders to drive financial performance and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior business leaders to enhance financial and operational performance.
• Provide commercial insights on sales, margins, pricing, cash flow and investment proposals.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning cycles.
• Monitor results against targets, flagging performance gaps and business risks.
• Own financial closing, management reporting and regional submissions.
• Work with shared services to ensure accurate, timely financial data.
• Oversee internal controls, tax, audit and compliance requirements.
• Manage working capital, capital expenditures, inventory and fixed‑asset reporting.
• Support finance‑related regulatory matters and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Lead, develop and mentor the local finance team.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Chartered Accountant or ACCA qualification.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or similarly complex operational environment.
• Proven ability to manage and develop finance staff.
• Strong communication skills with confidence presenting to senior management.
• Singapore citizen or permanent resident.
