Creative Social Media Assistant (Internship)

About the role

A homegrown media company in Singapore is looking for a Creative Social Media Intern to help manage content for its social media platforms and company website. You will execute photography and videography content, gaining hands-on experience in social media and digital marketing. The internship lasts a minimum of 24 weeks (6 months).

Key responsibilities

• Film, host and edit high-quality photography and videography content for social media and the company website.
• Plan and maintain filming schedules so that content is uploaded regularly.
• Assist in creating infographics to support marketing initiatives.
• Ideate and develop creative social media content pieces.
• Carry out research to inform and improve content strategies.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Media/Communications Studies, or currently studying for one.
• Portfolio of videography and photography work.
• Ability to shoot and edit both video and photos, and to design and/or illustrate.
• Good eye for content and trending topics.
• Commitment to a minimum of 24 weeks (6 months).

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Photoshop.
• Understanding of new media, digital publishing, content and social media.
