Curriculum Specialist (Secondary Mathematics)

About the role

The Curriculum Specialist will join the Secondary Mathematics team to design, develop and write high‑quality curriculum resources, including lesson plans and teacher guides, for TLL’s academic enrichment programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and produce lesson materials for assigned secondary‑level mathematics grades, ensuring alignment with learning outcomes and assessment activities.
• Collaborate with segment heads and senior team members to plan Schemes of Work that fit TLL’s annual teaching timetable.
• Research, write, edit and prepare content for print or online delivery, incorporating hands‑on learning activities and meeting MOE requirements.
• Create clear teacher reference notes and support documents to aid classroom implementation.
• Apply TLL’s quality‑assurance processes, including style compliance, content accuracy checks and incorporation of feedback from teachers and leadership.
• Carry out administrative and project‑management duties related to curriculum development.
• Potentially support classroom teaching, especially for candidates with limited prior teaching experience.

Required profile

• A good university degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
• Strong written communication and editorial skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance standards.
• Organisational and project‑management capabilities.
