Customer Care Specialist – Spare Parts Inventory Management

About the role

The Customer Care Specialist will manage the spare‑parts inventory, ensuring parts are available when needed while keeping excess stock and costs low. This role combines demand forecasting, supplier coordination and continuous process improvement to support operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain inventory plans for spare parts, setting optimal stock levels and reorder points.
• Monitor usage patterns, historical data and forecasts to adjust inventory quantities.
• Analyze equipment maintenance schedules and collaborate with service engineers to predict part demand.
• Manage the transition of discontinued parts to replacements through ECR/TB processes.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, track purchase orders and expedite shipments.
• Coordinate with supply‑chain and shared services to resolve back‑orders and delivery issues.
• Use inventory management systems to record stock levels, order history and generate performance reports.
• Document inventory and procurement activities and drive continuous improvement of processes.

Required profile

• NITEC, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in inventory or spare‑parts management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Professionalism and integrity in all work practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP (optional but advantageous).
