Customer & Commercial Operations Specialist – Fresh Graduate Role

About the role

Join Applied Materials in Singapore as a Customer & Commercial Operations Specialist. This entry‑level position supports the end‑to‑end order process, warranty claims and billing activities while providing a solid foundation for a career in the semiconductor equipment industry.

Key responsibilities

• Support quotes, orders, RMAs and warranty claims; follow up on open transactions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve delivery holds and execute TKM kit requests.
• Assist with billing and invoice reconciliation across TPM, FPM, TKM, spares and services.
• Help resolve invoice disputes, support AR follow‑ups and manage delivery coordination.
• Provide proactive updates on high‑value orders and expedite parts with internal teams.
• Monitor past‑due, obsolete or problem parts and build system/process knowledge.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a discipline.
• Applies general business knowledge gained through education or past experience.
• No supervisory responsibilities; accountable for technical contribution.
• Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems and makes judgments based on analysis.
• Works within standardized procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

Required skills

• System testing (RIT/UAT) and basic issue resolution.
• Experience with B2B and ASN transaction processes.
• MDG customer master setup and entitlement compliance (under supervision).
