Customer Outreach Officer – General Insurance Telesales

About the role

As a Customer Outreach Officer at ECICS Limited, you will deliver exceptional service while driving sales of our general insurance products. Based in the Paya Lebar East region, you will handle inbound enquiries, resolve issues, and proactively reach out to prospects through phone, email and chat.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound telesales calls to acquire new and renewal customers for retail motor, commercial motor, maid insurance and other retail lines.
• Respond to customer queries across phone, email and chat, providing professional solutions and anticipating needs.
• Perform verification checks in line with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer information and ensure complete documentation is submitted.
• Coordinate with internal departments to onboard cases promptly.
• Prepare reports and support ad‑hoc initiatives to improve sales and service strategies.

Required profile

• GCE O‑Level/Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of telesales experience, preferably in general insurance.
• General Insurance certifications (BCP, PGI, ComGI) preferred; candidates without them must obtain within two months.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; additional local language is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with telephony systems.
• Familiarity with policy administration systems and typical referral workflows.
