Customer Relations Officer – Easy Buying (Part‑Time)

About the role

As a Customer Relations Officer in the Easy Buying team at IKEA Tampines, you will be the first point of contact for customers both in‑store and via phone. You will help build lasting relationships by addressing enquiries, handling returns and refunds, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide resolutions for customer enquiries and complaints, including exchange and return claims, refunds, IKEA Family Card issues, and home‑delivery queries.
• Manage walk‑in and phone enquiries, delivering service recovery and follow‑up.
• Support customer recovery by coordinating with sales and logistics to resolve out‑of‑stock situations and cash‑on‑delivery cases.
• Apply department policies to ensure safety, security and a positive shopping experience.
• Share knowledge with the team and develop multi‑skill capabilities across the Customer Relations Department.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in a fast‑paced customer service environment.
• Initiative‑taking attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Solution‑oriented decision‑making and resilience.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work retail shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
