Customer Service Export Executive

About the role

Sika (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sika AG and a member of the Sika Group, manufactures, trades and supplies specialty construction chemicals. It is looking for a Customer Service Export Executive to process third-party export and inter-company orders and act as the link between customers, forwarders, the sales team and the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Process third-party export and inter-company orders and keep customers, forwarders, sales and supply chain connected
• Book, document and dispatch shipments in line with international compliance standards
• Manage customer accounts, ensure orders are fulfilled and address customer queries
• Work with supply chain for timely factory deliveries and liaise with logistics and forwarders on outbound shipping
• Evaluate freight rates and coordinate vessel schedules
• Check shipping documents for accuracy and completeness and stay up to date on international shipping regulations
• Run customer onboarding, obtain finance order-release approval and generate sales analytics for the sales team and management

Required profile

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business or a related field
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in sea freight forwarding or export customer service
• Good understanding of shipping regulations, Incoterms and customs procedures
• Strong verbal and written English and meticulous attention to detail

Required skills

• Extensive working knowledge of SAP and standard MS Office
• Practical expertise in Incoterms, global customs procedures and bill of lading surrenders
