Cyber Security Incident Responder – APAC SOC

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Incident Responder to join the Production SOC & Security Investigation & Incident Response team of a global bank in Singapore. The role focuses on strengthening detection capabilities across APAC, developing security use cases, and supporting 24/7 SOC operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical activities for security use case definition, design, implementation and enrichment based on real‑world attack scenarios and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
• Enhance SIEM and SOAR capabilities and oversee detection coverage for the regional IT Production SOC.
• Respond to cyber and IT security incidents, assess severity, and coordinate remediation actions.
• Identify recurring security issues, propose mitigation plans and drive continuous improvement of SOC processes, policies and playbooks.
• Collaborate with the APAC Business CSIRT and global stakeholders to ensure integrated security monitoring and incident handling.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in security incident response, SOC operations or related cyber security fields.
• Strong understanding of current threat landscape and ability to translate threats into actionable detection use cases.
• Proven ability to work autonomously on technical investigations and threat‑hunting activities.
• Experience partnering with cross‑functional teams and supporting compliance and audit requirements.
