Cybersecurity Operations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Cybersecurity Operations Specialist to manage day‑to‑day security activities across the organisation. You will work closely with IT teams, vendors and business stakeholders to monitor threats, respond to incidents and improve our overall security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, triage and investigate security alerts and incidents.
• Coordinate incident response activities and follow‑up with internal teams and vendors.
• Produce regular security reports and threat summaries.
• Plan and run phishing simulation campaigns and broader security‑awareness programmes.
• Track vulnerabilities, work with IT to ensure timely remediation and verify endpoint coverage.
• Administer enterprise security platforms such as EDR, IAM, email security, secure web gateway and DLP.
• Support audit activities, access reviews and security projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Security, IT or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or IT security.
• Hands‑on experience with security monitoring, incident response and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with security awareness and phishing‑simulation initiatives.
• Understanding of standards such as ISO 27001, PDPA or PCI‑DSS.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+, CEH) are a plus.
